Duane has over 25 years’ experience practicing in the area of labor and employment law.  He has consulted and represented employees and small and medium-sized employers in every type of venue, including federal and state trial and appellate courts, administrative hearings of all kinds, arbitrations, and mediations.

Duane is a Labor and Employment Law Specialist, certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association.  Duane also brings other unique and valuable work experience to his practice.  Prior to practicing law, he was a Minneapolis Police Officer for six years and a United States Postal Inspector for 11 years.  In the latter position, he traveled extensively in the United States conducting investigations of mail fraud, various federal crimes committed against the general public and the Postal Service, and he was a member of several audit teams that conducted both financial and operational audits.
